Jonathan was born in McHenry, Illinois and raised in Burlington, Wisconsin. During his senior year of high school, Jonathan also took classes at Gateway Technical College to be trained as an EMT in 2012. Afterward, he moved to Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and History of Science in 2017.

Jonathan came from a family of nine children; two of them with special needs. He enjoys spending his time volunteering and advocating for programs like the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin and Special Smiles. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys being a die-hard Chicago sports and Badger fan, reading, and cooking. Johnathan is so glad that the Chicago Cubs goat curse has finally been broken.

Recently, Jonathan joined the Madison Dental Initiative team to work as Care Coordinator. With More Smiles Wisconsin’s help, he hopes to improve the community and city that he now calls home.
